Day 2

Good morning! Yesterday was day 2 and certainly a busy one!
An early start and then we took the short coach ride to Colegio San Ignacio, formally a sister school or St Georges. There, we were greeted by staff (a number of our own staff are very well known here, you are famous Ms Flammini!) and we then rehearsed for their acto for dia del maestro, at which we had been asked to sing. The acto was for the whole school with just over 400 students was much smaller than we are used to. It was a lovely tribute to the staff at the school and a pleasure to be invited to sing. After a hearty lunch, we gave a full hour long concert for all of the the prep school school (though we have a feeling that we were joined by some stealth students who should have been in class and sneaked in!)
The concert was excellent and very well received, it was certainly a tribute to the hard work that Mikaela and Chris have put in with our ES1 and 2 students this year.
A 4 hour journey, new hotel and a late evening meal saw us in Villa Carlos Paz. All extremely tired and asleep by 11pm - students and teachers alike.
See blow some concert highlights - plenty more pictures to follow.......

  2. Certainly, it was a pleasure to host all of you at San Ignacio's. Yesterday, the concert was brilliant; our students and teachers were amazed by your performance. Mika has undoubtedly grace and charm as a choirmaster!
Two lovely days all together. We hope it will be others like these in the future.
Enjoy your time at Carlos Paz, Los Cocos and Córdoba.
    Best wishes,
