Day 4

So here we are, the final day of the tour before we travel back to BAs. All students today were received at Mark Twain college and hosted by very welcoming families. It has been a day when lasting friendships and strong links have been made indeed!
The day started with an early breakfast in our remote hotel in Los Cocos (no wifi which is why yesterday's post was late) we then drove through some beautiful scenery to Cordoba city.
A very quick meeting with host families and lunch and then on with the job of rehearsing for the evening concert.
The concert itself was a huge success and was not only very well attended by the public but also gave our students an opportunity to join forces with the choir at Mark Twain to do 3 joint items, all of which were a huge success. After the concert all students headed away with their host families for a final night of fun before heading back to BA on day 6.
Please see todays highlight below and also see if you can spot a guest former member of staff at St George's college...............................yes.......it was wonderful to be joined by Jeanie Knight who is looking fantastic and relaxed in the first year of her retirement in Cordoba. It was wonderful to see you Jeanie and we loved having your support at the concert.......
